getting down to the wire now.
the good news is that i have been reunited with my beloved laptop and i'm clacking away on it as we speak. after much frustration with the broadband thing. thank you, cyn.
so i should actually be leaving HK soon! how you like them apples?! i'm probably going to go through withdrawal. i just went to mannings and bought out the store on random shit i'm never going to find in china - burt's bees natural insect repellant, shoe inserts, cetaphil. if i were to create a pie chart thing in quicken to categorize my expenses, i think 'random grooming items' would probably represent a good quarter-pie.
mmm, pie. apple pie. peach pie.
went with the fams to yum cha this morning, then dropped another 850 HKD on another visa for china, then did a little walking around TST with biann. good fun. we were both a little hungry so we stopped in a cha sam tim and had what qualifies as a large tea or a small lunch. at any rate, it was a macau restaurant so we got those portugese egg tarts. slammin. highly recommended if you haven't already indulged.
so when i get back to SH i need to get some business cards or name cards made. i'm thinking that as a freelance writer it's kind of suicide to not have them. people have them in SH for the purpose of partying and networking, so why the hell not. i'm trying to think up a nice design and logo.
alrighty. i'm off. hi to everyone. wish me luck in getting home this week.
